Kingman Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce that we are implementing online registration. At this time there are a limited number of programs available for online registration, but starting September 2014 online registration will be available for all programs offered by the Recreation Department. In the coming months additional features will be added online such as Softball/Baseball Field Reservations and Ramada/Park Reservations. Upcoming Trips and Events


Join the Kingman Parks & Recreation at Golden Corral this year for breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Come in your pajamas or all dressed up; either way you will want to bring your camera for a great photo opportunity. You can also purchase a photo with a holiday frame; 1 for $3 or 2 for $5. Then pick it up at the Parks & Recreation office on Wednesday, December 17, or at a later date. Pick up your meal discount voucher at the Parks & Recreation office (3333 Harrison St.) Monday – Friday between 8:00-5:00 p.m. November 17 through December 12, (excluding Thanksgiving); you only need 1 voucher per family. Vouchers will not be available the day of the event so pick one up early! Any further questions please call Beth Matthews at 692-3109.

Register by Monday, December 8
Santa and his North Pole Elves will be calling your child this holiday season if the North Pole receives their Santa’s Calling Form. Santa’s Calling is for children 3 to 9 years who would like to receive a call from Santa or one of his helpers. Children must be able to communicate with Santa. Forms will be available at City Hall, the Recreation Department, and through local schools beginning November 17. Forms must be completed by a parent or guardian. You may return the form to any of our Red North Pole Mailboxes located at City Hall, Centennial Park Recreation Department, and Fire Station #3 off of Gordon. All forms must be returned by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8; mailboxes will be collected and returned to the North Pole. Calls will be placed between December 1-December 19 (no choice of calling date).

Santa is looking for volunteers to assist with calls, so if you’re interested and can help Santa, please call the North Pole Hotline at 757-7919.

Attention all kids! Santa’s Elves are here and will be delivering your Christmas Greetings personally to the North Pole from November 10 to December 5. Santa has promised to return a letter to every boy & girl who writes him. To receive a letter from Santa, senders must send a letter to Santa and provide a self-addressed stamped envelope. Your letters can be deposited in the holiday mailbox located at the Parks & Rec. Office or mailed to the address below; please allow 2 weeks for delivery. Note to parents: this is NOT a “presents or gift receiving” program.

The Kingman Parks & Recreation Department is looking for a few good men and women to assist them in a variety of programs and activities. If you enjoy youth sports, working around pools or simply assisting an instructor with an arts and crafts class, and have the extra time to work with these or any other recreation activity or special event, please contact the Recreation office at 757-7919.
