ARREST FOR DANGEROUS DRUGS AND WEAPONS MISCONDUCT

On Wednesday, May 9th, at about 12:20 am, Kingman Police arrested Joseph Henry Hardy, 23 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Weapons Misconduct. Officers contacted Hardy and his 20-year-old girlfriend in a motel room in the 3300 block of Andy Devine Ave. after it was reported that two subjects were trespassing at the motel. Motel management reported that two subjects were in the room that should be unoccupied. Officers entered the room and located Hardy and his female companion. Both were detained. Officers located over 2 ounces of methamphetamine packaged for sale, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a rifle. The female was issued a citation, charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, while Hardy (who admitted involvement in the offenses) was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on his charges.

FELONY ARREST ON DRUG CHARGES

On Thursday, May 3rd at approximately 8:30 p.m., a Kingman Police officer arrested Tamera Debbie Jean Thorns, 23 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and misdemeanor charges of Possession of Marijuana, and Driving with a Revoked Driver License. This arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted in the 600 block of E. Andy Devine Ave. where the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Thorns, was driving on a revoked license. The officers took Thorns into custody. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia. Thorns was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

WEAPONS OFFENSE, DRUGS AND PROBATION VIOLATION

On Monday, April 30th, at 9:30 am, Kingman Police arrested Brittany Dawn Perez, 26 of Kingman, on felony charges of Prohibited Possessor of Firearm, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Narcotic Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Steven Allan Davis Jr., 33 of Kingman, on a misdemeanor charge of Domestic Violence by Disorderly Conduct. Officers responded to the parking lot of the Mohave County Probation Department in the 800 block of E. Beale St. where it was reported that probation officers had observed their probationer, Perez, and Davis involved in an altercation inside a parked car where Davis was seen pushing Perez. Probation officers contacted Perez and conducted a search of her belongings where a handgun, methamphetamine, heroin and assorted drug paraphernalia were located. Perez, who admitted involvement in the drug offenses, but denying the weapons offense, was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility. Davis, who denied ownership of the weapon, was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on his charges.

FELONY CHARGES IN DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE

On Sunday, April 29th, at about 5:20 pm, Kingman Police arrested Christopher C. Malcolm, 53 of Kingman, on a felony charge of Disorderly Conduct and misdemeanor charges of Domestic Violence by Threats, Domestic Violence by Assault, Domestic Violence by Disorderly Conduct w/Firearms and two counts of Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. Officers had responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 3400 block of Rose Wood St. where it was being reported that Malcolm had fired a handgun and was threatening the occupants with the handgun. Officers arrived to find that Malcolm had fled in a vehicle. Malcolm was located about a mile away in the desert area where he was taken into custody. The investigation determined that Malcom had become upset at the victim and her husband. During an argument, Malcolm is alleged to have brandished a handgun and fired a single round into the air, before pointing the gun at the victim. Malcolm then fled in a vehicle, where he is alleged to have fired a second round into the air while in the desert area. Malcolm, who was intoxicated, was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the charges.

PROBATION VIOLATION, WEAPONS OFFENSE AND WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, April 25th, at about 4:15 pm, Kingman Police, while assisting the Mohave County Probation Department, arrested Larry Dean Jay, 48 of Kingman, on a felony charge of Weapons Misconduct and a felony warrant for Probation Violation. Also arrested was Bobbie Lynn Brummett, 42 of Kingman, on a misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Pay Fine, issued by Kingman Municipal Court. KPD responded to Jay’s residence in the 3100 block of Kino Ave. to assist Mohave County Probation Department in arresting Jay and confiscating weapons in Jay’s possession, a violation of his probation status. Officers also contacted Jay’s girlfriend, Brummett, who was found to have a warrant for her arrest for Failure to Pay Fine. Jay and Brummett were both arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility. Numerous assorted weapons were seized from the home.

ARREST MADE IN MOLEST INVESTIGATION FROM SEPTEMBER

On Friday, April 27th, Kingman Police Detectives arrested Bradley James Manseau, 27 of Kingman, on felony charges of Sexual Assault, Molestation of a Child and Sexual Conduct with a Minor, all as a result of a Child Molestation investigation that began in September of 2017. In September a parent of a 6-year-old girl contacted police after the child disclosed allegations of being sexually assaulted and molested by Manseau, an acquaintance to the victim’s family. The allegations are in reference to one reported incident that occurred while the victim was alone with Manseau in his vehicle. Manseau denied the allegations at the time. The investigation was ongoing. Results of forensic evidence obtained at the time of the initial investigation returned this week that corroborated the victim's report of being assault and molested by Manseau. On Friday KPD detectives located an arrested Manseau at his home in Kingman. Manseau, who continued to deny involvement, was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

ARREST FOR HEROIN

On Saturday, November 4th, at 1:15 am, Kingman Police arrested Cheryl Elaine Carlson, 30 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and misdemeanor False Reporting to Law Enforcement. Carlson was contacted by police in the area of the I-40 on-ramp at Stockton Hill Rd. During this time Carlson provided a false name to the officers. Carlson was found to be in possession of heroin and the associated drug paraphernalia. Carlson was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

DANGEROUS DRUGS ARREST

On Tuesday, September 19th, at 9:00 pm, Kingman Police arrested Diana L. Breshears, 52 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Diana was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop, Breshears was found to be in possession of over 4 grams of methamphetamine and the associated drug paraphernalia. Breshears was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the charges.

FUGITIVE FELONY WARRANT ARREST

On Wednesday, September 20th, at 10:30 am, Kingman Police Detectives arrested James Norman Powell, 71 of Kingman, on a felony arrest warrant issued out of Las Vegas Township Justice Court for felony offenses of Fraudulent Act in Game Establishment and Burglary. The investigating agency was the Nevada Department of Gaming, who contacted KPD and request assistance in locating and apprehending Powell. Powell was arrested at his residence in the 2100 block of Gates Ave. and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on a fugitive hold, awaiting extradition to Nevada authorities.

DANGEROUS & NARCOTIC DRUGS FOR SALE ARREST

On Wednesday, September 20th, at 9:45 am, Kingman Police Detectives arrested Samantha D. Hillebrand, 24 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Narcotic Drugs for Sale and 2 counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and a misdemeanor warrant for Failure to Pay Fines. Detectives contacted Hillebrand while she was walking in the 4000 block of N. Arizona St. Hillebrand was taken into custody on her warrant at which time she was found to be in possession of over 7 grams of methamphetamine, over 3 grams of heroin, over 80 narcotic prescription pills and the assorted drug paraphernalia. Hillebrand was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
