ARREST MADE FOR DANGEROUS DRUGS FOR SALE

On Monday, March 27th, at 11:55 pm, Kingman Police arrested Sean Austin Goers, 40 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Goers was arrested after a search warrant was served at his home in the 4000 block of Van Nuys Rd., by the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET).  Goers was not at the residence when the search warrant was served.  Goers was located a short time later, in the 4000 block of Stockton Hill Rd., driving a white in color 2008 Ford pickup truck.  It was learned that the truck had been reported stolen to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  Goers was found to be in possession of a significant amount of methamphetamine and the assorted drug paraphernalia.  Goers was arrested and ultimately booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.  The investigation is ongoing.

SUBJECT ATTEMPTS TO LIGHT HIMSELF ON FIRE

On Monday, March 27th, at 1:10 pm, Kingman Police responded to a disturbance at a truck stop in the 4000 block of E. Andy Devine Ave. It was reported that a man and a woman were fighting and that the man was attempting to light them on fire after pouring lighter fluid on each of them.  It was determined that the 49-year-old man had doused himself with kerosene, made suicidal statements and attempted to ignite himself with a lighter, which was unsuccessful.  The female, 36 years old, was unharmed.  The man was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation.  Charges of domestic violence are pending.  The female was released.  Both were traveling to the Phoenix area, not from Kingman.

ARREST FOR DANGEROUS DRUGS

On Monday, March 27th, at 10:20 am, Kingman Police arrested Jackie Marie Blackburn, 24 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Prescription Only Medication, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Blackburn was the driver of a vehicle that was parked illegally in the 500 block of Metcalfe Rd.  The officer located methamphetamine, prescription medication, marijuana and the assorted drug paraphernalia in Blackburn’s possession.  Blackburn, who admitted involvement in the offenses, was ultimately arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

FELONY ARREST ON WARRANT AND DRUG RELATED CHARGES

On March 8th at approximately 10:45 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Travis John Thomas Romans, 32 of Dolan Springs, in the 2400 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd. on felony charges of Possession/Use of Narcotics, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

This arrest was the result after police observed a subject, identified as Romans, who was known to have a felony warrant for his arrest. Officers contacted Romans in the 3400 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd. and took him into custody.  Romans was found in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and various drug paraphernalia.  Romans was subsequently booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on a felony Failure to Appear Warrant and the drug-related charges.

FELONY ARREST FOR UNLAWFUL FLIGHT AND DUI CHARGES

On March 10th at approximately 1:25 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Derek Allen Pashano, 32 of Meadview, in the 3900 block of Stirrup Circle, on a felony charge of Unlawful Flight, and misdemeanor charges of DUI, DUI above .08%, Extreme DUI .15% - .20%, and Extreme DUI over .20%.  This arrest resulted after police, who were in the 3400 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd. investigating an unrelated incident, observed a male subject who appeared to be intoxicated near a vehicle as if to drive away.  An officer attempted to contact the subject, later identified as Pashano, to stop him; however, he got into a vehicle and left the business as the officer was trying to stop him.  Another officer followed the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop.  Pashano did not stop for the officer and led police on a short vehicle pursuit with low speeds and light traffic conditions before stopping at a residence in the 3900 block of Stirrup Circle.  Officers took Pashano into custody for unlawful flight.  Pashano performed poorly on field sobriety tests and an intoxilizer breath alcohol content test reading above .20.  Pashano was ultimately booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on the above charges.

FELONY ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF DANGEROUS DRUGS AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

On, March 8th at approximately 8:55 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Emily Rose Grimes, 21 of Kingman, in the 4700 block of Steinke Dr. on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a misdemeanor Warrant.

This arrest stemmed after police were called to a residence in the 4700 block of Steinke Dr. in reference to a disorderly subject.  During the investigation, the officer spoke to a female subject, identified as Grimes, and found her to have a valid warrant out of the Kingman Justice Court.  Grimes was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia while being taken into custody.  Grimes was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

FELONY ARREST FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER

On March 8th at approximately 12:00 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Brittney Dawn Perez, 25 of Kingman, in the 3200 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd, on felony charges of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Shoplift, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and misdemeanor Resisting Arrest.

This arrest was the result after police responded to a store in the 3200 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd. for a shoplift in progress.  Officers arrived on scene and contacted the suspect, identified as Perez.  Officers attempted to take her into custody when she began resisting and was combative with officers.  During the struggle, Perez bit one officer in the arm and hit another officer in the face.  An officer deployed his Taser to gain compliance of Perez and was subsequently able to take her into custody.  Officers located the stolen merchandise in Perez’s handbag as well as methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Perez was treated at Kingman Regional Medical Center for minor injuries related to the struggle before she was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility. Perez had two other shoplift arrests within the past four months; therefore, she was booked on a felony shoplift charge. The officers had minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.

FELONY ARREST FOR UNLAWFUL FLIGHT AND WARRANTS

On March 7th at approximately 6:55 p.m., the Kingman Police Department arrested Brandon Ross Odom, 33 of Kingman, in the 2700 block of Pasadena Ave. on felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Disorderly Conduct for Reckless Display/Discharge of a Firearm, Unlawful Flight from Law Enforcement, and misdemeanor Failure to Pay Fines Warrant and Driving on a Suspended License.

This arrest stemmed after police obtained information of the whereabouts of a wanted subject, identified as Odom.  An officer located Odom and a passenger traveling north on Monroe St. on a 2008 Titan Scooter and attempted a traffic stop.  Odom did not stop for the officer as he had an outstanding warrant and led police on a short vehicle pursuit with low speeds and light traffic conditions in a residential area before Odom stopped in the 2700 block of Pasadena Ave.

Officers contacted Odom and took him into custody for unlawful flight and driving on a suspended license, and an outstanding warrant.  Odom’s passenger identified as Brittany Michelle Speaks, 25 of Kingman, was found to have a misdemeanor warrant and was taken into custody.  Speaks was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

Odom was wanted for questioning regarding his involvement in an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon which occurred on February 19th in the 2400 block of Emerson Avenue.  During the incident, the suspect who was positively identified as Odom had pointed a handgun and fired in the direction of a male victim.  No one was injured during the incident.  Odom denied his involvement.  Ultimately, Odom was booked into the Mohave Count Adult Detention Facility.

FELONY ARREST FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A HEALTH CARE WORKER

On Saturday, March 4th at approximately 5:25 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Keith Alan Fisher, 34 of Kingman, in the 3200 block of N Stockton Hill Rd. on a felony charge of Aggravated Assault on a Health Care Worker.  This arrest was the result after police were called to the Kingman Regional Medical Center for a disorderly subject in the emergency room who was physically fighting with emergency room staff.  Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect, identified as Fisher, into custody.  The investigation revealed that Fisher punched a doctor in the face and struck him several times in the back of the head and shoulder area.  Another patient in the emergency room and hospital staff assisted the doctor to gain control over Fisher until police arrived on scene.  Fisher was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility once he was medically cleared for release.

FELONY ARREST FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON A PEACE OFFICER, HEALTH CARE WORKER, AND THREATENING OR INTIMIDATING PHYSICAL INJURY

On Saturday, March 4th at approximately 6 a.m., Aurelio Julian Colmenares-Nery, 18 of Kingman, was arrested in the 3200 block of N. Stockton Hill Rd. on felony charges of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer, Aggravated Assault on a Health Care Worker, and Threatening and Intimidating Physical Injury.  This arrest resulted after police were called to the Kingman Regional Medical Center for an aggravated assault on an emergency room doctor where the suspect, Colmenares-Nery had grabbed a doctor by the throat to choke him and had threatened to kill a nurse and her family.  During the investigation, Colmenarez-Nery attempted to kick an officer, and spit on the officer.  Colmenarez-Nery was taken into custody, and placed in the patrol vehicle for his involvement.  Colmenarez-Nery was combative and kicked the doors and windows of the patrol vehicle, and an officer.  Officers restrained Colmenarez-Nery and he was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility without further incident.
