ARREST FOR VEHICLE BURGLARY

On Wednesday, January 11th, at 12:40 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Polataia Timuia, 28 of Kingman, on a felony charge of Burglary to a Vehicle.  While on patrol the officer observed Timuia leaning inside of a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of Monroe St.  When the officer stopped to make contact, Timuia attempted to hide and flee from the officer.  The officer was able to capture Timuia and determined that she was not the owner of the vehicle.  Timuia subsequently admitted involvement in the offense and was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT ON OFFICER

On Tuesday, January 10th, at 1:10 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Matthew Lowell Mansbridge, 28 of Kingman on a felony charge of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer and misdemeanor city ordinance violation of Illegal Camping.  While on patrol an officer observed Mansbridge who appeared to be sleeping in front of a business in the 3100 block of Stockton Hill Rd.  Mansbridge, who has been arrested and given multiple warnings in the past, spit on the officer while being taken into custody.  Mansbridge was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility on his charges.

RESISTING ARREST, DANGEROUS DRUGS AND TRESPASSING

On Saturday, January 7th, at 1:40 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Joseph Richard Shuffler, 30 of Kingman, on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, and misdemeanor Trespassing.  Officers had responded to a residence in the 3200 block of N. Central St. wherein the home owner was reporting that an unknown male subject had jumped a fence into the backyard of the home.  The suspect, identified as Shuffler, was scared out of the yard by the homeowner’s dog.  Officers contacted Shuffler nearby.  Shuffler attempted to flee on foot.  Officers were able to capture Shuffler at which time he began to resist and fight.  Officers were able to taken Shuffler into custody.  Shuffler, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and the assorted drug paraphernalia.  Shuffler was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

VEHICLE BURGLARY AND POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

On Tuesday, January 3rd, the Kingman Police Department arrested Dustin Jerome Harwood, 36 of Kingman, on felony charges of Burglary of a Vehicle and Possession of Stolen Property.  Harwood was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in the area of E. Andy Devine Ave. and I-40 when detectives found him to be in possession of a bicycle that was reported stolen.  The bicycle was reported stolen during the early morning hours Tuesday, where the victim stated the bike was stolen from the back of a vehicle while parked in the parking lot of a motel in the 3000 block of E. Andy Devine Ave.  Harwood denied stealing the bike, and provided inconsistent statements of how he came into possession of the stolen bike.  Harwood was subsequently booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.  The owner of the bicycle, who was traveling to Oklahoma, had already left town.  The property will be returned.

DANGEROUS DRUGS ARREST

On Tuesday, December 27th, at about 9:30 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Jose Gregory Mesa on felony charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.  Mesa was arrested at a residence in the 900 block of Buchanan St.  Officers had responded to a report of suspicious activity at the residence, which was condemned due to a recent fire.  Mesa was found inside the residence and he had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest issued by the Kingman Justice Court.  Additionally, Mesa was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and the assorted drug paraphernalia.  Mesa was booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.

FELONY SHOPLIFTING AND DANGEROUS DRUGS

On Saturday, October 22nd, at 6:00 p.m., Kingman Police arrested Tyler Dwane Ehrhardt, 23 of Kingman, on felony charges of Organized Retail Theft, Removing Anti-Theft Device, Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Christopher John Aitken, 36 of Kingman, on felony charges of Organized Retail Theft, Trafficking in Stolen Property and misdemeanor Theft. Both were arrested as a result of a shoplifting investigation that began at a store in the 3300 block. of Stockton Hill Rd. Store security had witnessed Ehrhardt and Aitken removed security devices, conceal and steal video gaming equipment before fleeing the store. Officers were able to determine that Aitken had later sold the stolen merchandise. Both were subsequently located at an RV park on Airway Ave. and taken into custody. Ehrhardt, who also had two valid misdemeanor warrants for his arrest on unrelated charges, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Both, who admitted involvement in the offenses, were booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
