Throughout her twenty years in Kingman, Jen Miles has worked to grow the city’s economy, workforce and quality of life. She came to Kingman having had experience as a chemical engineer for Chevron Corporation and as a small business entrepreneur. Once here, she first worked at Mohave Community College, rising in the ranks to serve as Vice President of Applied Sciences. Since 2003, she has worked for Mohave County where she continues to advance workforce and economic development programs. In 2013, she was honored to be the recipient of the Women Making History in Public Service in Kingman.
Currently, Jen serves on the Mohave/ La Paz Workforce Investment Board and is a member of Kingman and Mohave Manufacturing Association (KAMMA). She participates in several state level associations. Jen is Past President of the Arizona Council of Occupational Administrators and represented Mohave County in several Arizona Town Hall meetings including “Unifying a Diverse Arizona” and “Moving All of Arizona into the 21st Century Economy”.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (with honors) from Auburn University and an MBA from Stanford University. She enjoys sharing her home with some very spoiled four-legged companions.
