Councilwoman Vickie Kress
Vickie has considered Kingman “home” since her family moved here in the mid 1955’s. Although she lived several years in Detroit MI and Minneapolis MN, her family has always remained in Kingman.
During her time residing away from Kingman, she worked in the corporate world specializing in support services required by technology corporations. In her early years, Vickie’s career took her around the world as she managed regional office lease-hold improvements and real estate. Ultimately transitioning into world-wide corporate events management where her focus remained until Vickie opened her own events management business and ultimately retired in 2014.
Vickie was appointed as a City of Kingman Planning and Zoning Commission member in 2011 where she served until being appointed as a City Councilmember in April, 2017, filling a mid-term vacancy.
Vickie was elected to the Kingman Area Food Bank Board of Directors in 2011. She remains an active Board Member, filling the officer positions of President, Vice President and currently serving as Secretary.
Vickie Kress is honored to serve her community and call Kingman AZ home.
