NOTICE: STRIPING AFTER CHIPSEALING

The Public Works Department is working to re-stripe the recently chip and sealed streets as soon as possible. Striping was scheduled to take place this week but unfortunately Monday’s storms made that impossible as Public Works efforts were redirected to storm cleanup.

Street striping is scheduled to begin on Monday, the 21st weather permitting.

SPECIAL CITYWIDE AREA CLEAN-UP

In preparation for the International Route 66 Festival, Kingman Citywide Area Clean-Up Planned for July 14th thru July 25th, 2014

Requests are limited to one $3.00 special trash pickup per residential lot or property.

Items that cannot be accepted in this special pickup include:

  • Concrete, brick, dirt, rock or gravel

FEES AT CERBAT CLIFFS GOLF COURSE TO INCREASE SEPTEMBER 1ST

On July 1st the Kingman City Council approved a rate hike in the fees charged at the Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course. There are several reasons to round-up and increase fees, to include tax,  at the golf course.   The first is to minimize the time our customer’s spend in the line at the Pro Shop waiting while staff has to make change for each transaction and count it back.  The second and very important reason is to show Council and the citizens of the City of Kingman that we are continuing our efforts to make the golf course a self-supporting operation.  This will increase annual revenue by $45,000 to $50,000.  Another very important reason is that many of our customers have suggested that we do this.
