DOGS STOLEN DURING BURGLARY TO ANIMAL SHELTER

Post Date:08/24/2018 9:25 AM

Kingman Police are investigating a burglary and criminal damage at the Western AZ Humane Society shelter, at 950 Buchannan St. Employees arrived Thursday morning to find a fence had been cut and a kennel gate was damaged. Two dogs were missing from the damaged kennel. Investigators are following up on leads and believe the suspects are associated with the two dogs. The two dogs, one a brindle colored Pitbull mix, the second a black Pitbull, were considered highly aggressive. It is believed that the dogs would have been aggressive with anyone other than who they were familiar. The burglary would have occurred between 7:30 pm on Wednesday and 7:30 am on Thursday. Anyone with information is urged to contact KPD by calling (928) 753-2191, report anonymously to Mohave Silent Witness by calling (928) 753-1234, or report tips online by going to kingmanpolice.com (http://www.kingmanpolice.com) and clicking on “Give a Tip”.
