The City of Kingman is conducting a citizen survey to help improve city operations. In October, a survey was mailed to a random selection of 1,600 resident households.  The survey is now available online to all residents.  Log in to by Monday, December 10th to give your input!  


Pursuant to the Responsible Sales and Use Tax Act (Proposition 413) approved by the City of Kingman voters on November 6, 2018, the City of Kingman’s Model City Tax Code will be amended to reflect a 1% decrease in the transaction privilege and use tax rate among most categories effective January 1, 2019. KINGMAN, Arizona – September 6, 2018 –A Cargo Container Workshop was held yesterday, at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers in the City Complex, 310 N. 4th Street in downtown Kingman to discuss the possibility of allowing cargo containers in some residential zoning districts to be used for storage.  There were about 15 people in attendance.

The workshop covered the following topics:

  • Current allowances for cargo containers in residential zones
  • Proposed residential zoning districts for cargo containers to be used as storage only
  • Cargo container size limits
  • The physical look of cargo containers

A brief presentation was given and surveys handed out at the workshop.  Now, we would like to share the opportunity for those who could not attend the workshop to view the PowerPoint presentation and participate in this brief 10 question online survey.
