On Wednesday, September 19th, at about 12:10pm, a truck carrying used tires rolled onto its side as it turned onto Beale St. after exiting westboun.d I-40.  The crash caused the load of used tires to be  dumped on the roadway.  Several vehicles stopped at the traffic light in the opposite lanes where struck by rolling tires.   The driver, a 44 year old Kingman man, received injuries that required him to be transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released.  The crash caused the intersection on Beale St. at I-40 to be restricted for about 3hrs, which caused significant backup onto I-40 and Hwy 93/Beale St into Kingman.  The driver of the truck was issued a citation charging him with a civil violation of Failure to Control Speed to Avoid a Crash.  KPD would like to thank AZ DPS, ADOT Enforcement and MCSO for their assistance during the investigation and clean-up efforts
