Third Street Water Project Update

New Closure in Place
Post Date:08/29/2019 5:33 PM

The intersection of Oak Street will be open by 5 p.m., Friday, August 30. The closure will then shift one block north, where Oak St. to Spring St. will be closed. This closure should last 14 days, barring any weather delays. Detours will be in place for street closures.

A project to replace water lines on Third Street, from the Beale St. Alley to Pine St. will result in an overall, water-delivery benefit to our customers. The total cost for the project is $104,000.

The contractor, Freiday Construction, is working with residents in the area regarding notification, but no water service delays or disruptions are scheduled to take place.

Up-to-date street closures will be located on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
