Mission Statement

The mission of the City of Kingman Information Technology Department is to assist in the delivery of City services by managing and coordinating the use of information technology across the various City departments.

Major Services/Responsibilities

  • Maintain, upgrade and replace phone, computing and networking components as needed
  • Coordinate the use of common technologies between City departments
  • Investigate new technological opportunities on behalf of the City

Motorcycle vs Truck Crash

On Monday, September 16th, at 1:55 pm, Kingman Police investigated an injury crash on Harrison St. near Kingman Ave.

On Monday, September 16th, at 1:55 pm, Kingman Police investigated an injury crash on Harrison St. near Kingman Ave. The investigation revealed that a 2016 Dodge truck, driven by a 63 year old Mohave Valley man, was northbound on Harrison St. turning left onto Kingman Ave. into the path of a southbound 1994 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 29 year old Kingman man. The driver of the motorcycle was unable to avoid the collision, crashing into the right side of the truck. The driver of the motorcycle, who was wearing a helmet, received serious injuries to his leg and was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center with serious, non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the truck was issued a citation for Unsafe Turn. Alcohol is NOT believed to be a factor. Investigators believe that inattention contributed to the crash.
