Airway Avenue Travel Restrictions Next Week
Underground Utility Night Work
Beginning Monday, September 30 at 8 p.m., Airway Avenue will have restricted travel lanes all week, with night work being performed. Contractors will be doing underground utility work, with the construction of the new Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) building on Airway Ave. Contractors ask motorists to obey slower speed limits throughout the construction zone, as well as the lane restrictions and slower speeds on side streets, also.
At 8 p.m. Monday September 30, the right travel eastbound lane of Airway Ave. will be restricted to one lane the entire week. Complete lane shifts will take place in the evening hours, when the underground utility work is being performed.
The work is scheduled to last roughly one week, barring any weather delays.
Questions regarding the work should be directed to Phil Booth with Tri-Suns Engineering at (928) 716-0621.
Up-to-date street closures will be located on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive Maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
