Notice is hereby given that the City of Kingman, (hereinafter referred to as "City") is soliciting Requests for Quotes for of a total source capture vehicle exhaust system solution for each of the Fire Department facilities with a quote, in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) Title 34, for complete design, equipment, and installation of a source capture vehicle exhaust system at each of its four fire stations.
The project will consist of the entire scope of work that includes all hardware components of the system, installation by a licensed installer, electrical work, permits, permit fees, engineering drawings, as well as any shipping costs associated as well as all applicable taxes for each of the fire stations located at the following:
Fire Station 21 - 301 N. Fifth Street, Kingman, AZ. 86401
Fire Station 22 - 1605 Harrison Street, Kingman, AZ. 86401
Fire Station 23 - 4000 N. Sierra Road, Kingman, AZ. 86401
Fire Station 24 - 302 Eastern Avenue, Kingman, AZ. 86401
It is expected that all work will be complete by December 31, 2019 with the exception of Fire Station 2. The proposal should consider that this station is being remodeled and as such the proposal should include coordination and installation at this facility during the reconstruction phase. The expected timeline of the installation at this Fire Station is expected in the spring of 2020. However, due to the procurement process, the proposal should include the entirety of the project including all four fire stations and the timeframes included.
The City invites interested persons or firms to submit written Request for Quote (RFQ) relating to this project. Suppliers will be allowed to enter each fire station to properly identify building measurements and any other needs necessary for accuracy and completeness of the quote. Facility tours will be provided for all suppliers upon scheduling so that measurements may be taken and the identification of electrical and overhead obstructions.
The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder after applying. The City intends to enter into contract negotiations with the supplier and execute a contract upon completion of negotiation of fees and contract terms for City Council approval. If the City is unsuccessful in negotiating a contract with the top ranked supplier, the City may then negotiate with the second or third most qualified team until a contract is executed, or may decide to terminate the selection process.
The selection criteria and relative weight of the selection criteria to be used in evaluating the RFQs are set forth in the City of Kingman SOQ package BLD19-0388, which is available on the City website (www.cityofkingman.gov), or from the City Fire Department.
All submittals must be received by the due date and time assigned at the submittal location specified herein. Any response not received at the specified submittal location by the due date and time assigned will be returned unopened. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, or to withhold the award for any reason it may determine, and to waive or not to waive any informalities in any submittal. All information regarding the content of the specific submittals will remain confidential until a contract is finalized or all submittals are rejected.
