NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
RUNWAY 3-21 REHABILITATION PROJECT
KINGMAN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT
Sealed proposals for the construction of the Runway 3-21 Rehabilitation Project Contract will be received at the City Clerk’s Office, 310 N Fourth St. Kingman, AZ 86401 until 3:00 P.M., AZ Time, May 21, 2020 and there, at said office, at said time, publicly opened and read aloud. Due to current “social distancing” requirements, all proposals shall be submitted via mail, courier, or shipping service. Each proposal submitted shall be placed in a sealed envelope plainly marked with the project number, location of airport, and name and business address of the bidder on the outside and then enclosed in an additional envelope for mailing or shipping.
This project includes the rehabilitation of Runway 3-21 which generally involves the following:
- Mill existing asphalt concrete pavement from the runway surface
- Place new P-401 asphalt pavement
- Place interim and final runway and taxiway paintstriping
The Contract Documents (consisting of the Advertisement, the Proposal, the Agreement, and the Specifications) and the Contract Drawings may be obtained only by contacting Michelle Auge of C&S Engineers, Inc. at (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will provide you with the OneDrive link to download the Contract Documents. Your company will also be recorded on the plan holders list. Submitted proposals that were not recorded on the plan holders list shall be considered non-responsive.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total maximum proposal price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal.
Every request concerning this project must be made in writing or email addressed to Lance McIntosh, P.E. (email@example.com) C&S Engineers, Inc., located at 2575 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 740, AZ 85016, and to be given consideration must be received at the above address at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. Any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda, which, when issued, will be sent and or posted not later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. All addenda so issued shall become Part of the Contract and acknowledged by Bidder. Failure of any Bidder to receive any such addenda or interpretation shall not relieve said Bidder from any obligation under his bid submitted.
