Jack Yeager is a 33 year veteran of the fire service. He has held every position in the fire service and is currently serving as the Assistant Fire Chief – Operations for the Kingman Fire Department. Jacks most recent positions held are as the Fire Chief of Mohave Valley Fire District and Fire Chief of the Golden Valley Fire District.
Jack is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Leadership and Administration program, Executive Planning, Financial Management, Incident Safety Officer, Health Safety Officer and Leadership I, II, III. He holds many certifications like Firefighter I/II Instructor/Evaluator, ASFM and ICC Fire Inspector I/II, FEMA/National Incident Command system 100,200,300,400,700,800, Blue Card Incident Command Certification, Emergency Operations Manager, SERTC- Hazardous Materials Incident Commander.
He is currently the Chairman for Mohave Community College’s EMS Advisory Committee and Vice Chairman for the Mohave County Local Emergency Planning Committee. Jack is a 2nd generation firefighter following the footsteps of his father. He enjoys outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and camping.
