Business Licenses

The purpose of the City of Kingman Business License is primarily to regulate the quality of business activity which occurs or is transacted within the city limits, in order to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the people of the city.  Business license holders must obey all federal and state regulation as well as comply with Sections 8-121 through 8-140 of the Kingman Municipal Code.

Businesses located outside the City of Kingman boundaries and that do not operate within the City limits fall under Mohave County's jurisdiction.  There is no licensing requirement for Mohave County businesses; however, businesses must still adhere to all federal and state regulations.
