If I have lost something at one of the City Parks, is there a lost and found area to retrieve these items?
Yes, call (757-7919) or come in to the Parks and Recreation Office at Centennial Park to see if it has been turned in.
How do I reserve a spot in a City Park?
You can call 757-7919 to see if the date and park you have in mind is available, and if it is, you'll need to come in to the Parks and Rec office, fill out a park permit, and pay permit fee.
How do I make a tennis / racquetball reservation or reserve a ball field?
Call 757-7919 and we will write your reservation in on our reservation sheet - for tennis or racquetball come in to the office to pay and get key, and for a ball field pay at office prior to reservation date.
What programs do you offer for Adults / Kids?
Our offerings are seasonal and vary from Sports, Sport Camps, Dance, Arts & Crafts to Trips, Excursions and Hikes. We offer three seasonal brochures, (Spring, Summer and Fall) which come out as an insert in the Kingman Daily Miner and The Standard newspapers, on a specific weekend. These brochures are also available at the Parks and Recreation office and on our website (Activities Brochure), or you can call 757-7919 with specific questions.
Are bicycles allowed on the Skate Park?
No - only skateboards, in-line skates, and the new 2-wheeled scooters are allowed on the Skate Park.
When do the swimming pools open?
Generally the last Saturday in May. You can call 757-7919 for the specific date.
Can I register for a program or trip over the phone?
Yes, with a credit card. Registrations are on a first come, first served basis, and must have payment made or deposits paid at the time of sign up.
Can I rent the Community Center and is there a charge?
The Community Center can be reserved and rented on "available only" basis. There is no charge for non-profit, government or youth groups. A $15 per hour usage charge is assessed for all other groups or individuals. Large parties, weddings, or anything that includes food or drinks are discouraged.
