I haul my own water and I would like to disinfect it. How do I do it?
How to Disinfect Drinking Water *
Vigorous boiling for 2-5 minutes
Use common household liquid bleach
Read the label for instructions
If no label . . .
Mix thoroughly and allow to stand for 30 minutes before using.
Water should have a slight chlorine odor - if not, add one more drop of liquid bleach.

I noticed a cracked/broken sidewalk. Who do I contact so the public won't injure themselves?
Please contact the Street Department at (928) 692-3135 and report the location of the sidewalk.
A traffic signal is out or malfunctioning. What do I do?
If a traffic signal is "blacked out" or malfunctioning, use the 4-way stop rule. Contact the Street Department at (928) 692-3135 to report it. Please give the location of the intersection. Click on the Street Department web page for a list of traffic signals maintained by the City of Kingman. All others in Kingman are maintained by the Arizona Department of Transportation. They can be contacted at (928) 757-5828.
A street light is broken or malfunctioning. What do I do?
Contact the Street Department at (928) 692-3135, and report it. Please give specific street location information, preferably with the nearest address and/or the pole number. In general, the City of Kingman maintains the street lights on Kingman's arterial streets (i.e., Beale Street, Andy Devine Avenue, Stockton Hill Road, and Hualapai Mountain Road). Citizen's Utilities Electric, (928) 753-2124, maintains most of the others.
The city-owned trash container that I use is broken and/or missing. Who should I call?
